GPAs are often calculated for high school, undergraduate, and graduate students and can be used by potential employers or educational institutions to evaluate and compare candidates. The usual unweighted gpa is measured on a scale from 0 to 4.0. A regular unweighted GPA is measured on a scale of 0 to 4.0. Your GPA may be weighted, which means it goes up higher (usually up to a 5.0, but some schools have an even bigger scale). Grade point average is the numerical common of your progress at the School. How to calculate GPA

A grade point average is a number representing the average value of the accumulated final grades earned in courses over time. More commonly called a GPA, a student's grade point average is calculated by adding up all accumulated final grades and dividing that figure by the number of grades awarded.
Standard 5 points A/B/C/D/F scale is used by default. However, you can select 12 points scale that additionally uses +/- signs by clicking on Extended button above the calculator.
