Email headers preserved

All standard headers – From, To, Cc, Subject, and Date – are copied verbatim to the top of the generated EPUB, appearing as the first block above the message body. Hidden fields such as Bcc are omitted, matching typical email‑client display.

Rich body formatting and searchable text

The converter translates the email’s HTML body into EPUB‑compatible markup, preserving paragraph breaks, headings, ordered and unordered lists, bold, italic, underline, and table structures. Plain‑text‑only messages become a single searchable, selectable block of text.

Embedded and external images

Images embedded directly in the .eml are extracted and packaged inside the EPUB, making the e‑book self‑contained. For images referenced by external HTTP/HTTPS URLs, the service attempts to download each one, allowing up to two seconds per image and a total of ten seconds; images that exceed this limit are omitted without placeholders.

Clickable hyperlinks

Web links and mailto: addresses from the original email remain active in the EPUB. The visible anchor text and its target are preserved, so readers can tap or click the link to open a browser or compose a new email, provided the reading app supports link navigation.

Attachments and calendar invites excluded

Binary attachments such as PDFs, ZIP files, or separate image files are not carried into the EPUB; the conversion focuses on the email’s textual and inline visual content. Calendar invitations are treated similarly, appearing only as plain text if present.
