Headers rendered as a top metadata block

For every email extracted from the uploaded OST, the converter creates a separate legacy Word 97‑2003 .doc file whose first lines contain a metadata block. This block lists the From, To, Cc, Subject and Date fields exactly as they appear in the original message, preserving original spelling, punctuation and timestamp format so users can quickly identify the source of each document.

Body preserved with inline images embedded

The message body—whether plain‑text or HTML—is reproduced inside the resulting DOC file, and any inline images that were embedded in the original email are inserted directly into the document. The converter extracts the image data from the OST and places it in the Word file, ensuring the visual layout matches the source email without requiring external links or additional files.

One DOC per message, packaged as a ZIP archive

Each email in the source OST becomes an individual .doc file.
