MSG to RTF

Convert an Outlook .msg email to an RTF document, preserving the original body fonts, bold and italic styling, and paragraph layout. The tool outputs a clean RTF file that contains only the message body, without any email headers or attachments. This is useful when you need formatted text ready for reports or documentation. Scope: body‑only conversion; headers and attachments are not included.

Body formatting preserved

The converter extracts the main message body from the .msg file and reproduces it in RTF with the original fonts, bold and italic styling, and paragraph layout intact, so the resulting document looks the same as the email content displayed in Outlook.

Headers and attachments omitted

Only the email's textual body is included in the RTF output; fields such as From, To, Cc, Subject, and Date are not carried over, and any attached files remain excluded, keeping the file size small and focused on the formatted text.

Full Unicode support

All Unicode characters present in the original message, including non‑Latin scripts and special symbols, are retained in the RTF, ensuring that multilingual content remains readable without loss of characters.

Size limits and data retention

The free tier accepts smaller .msg files, while signing in or using a paid plan raises the per‑file size cap; each request still handles exactly one file. All uploaded and converted files are automatically removed from the server after 24 hours, providing a secure and temporary processing environment.
