Description of formats

PNG
(Portable Network Graphics)
The raster image format uses a 2-stage compression process. PNG is a lossless, portable, well-compressed storage of raster formats. PNG can handle 16 million colors and supports indexed color, grayscale, and true-color images. Sample depths range from 1 to 16 bits.
GLB
(Binary glTF)
File format used for the efficient transmission and loading of 3D scenes and models in web and mobile applications. It is a binary version of the glTF (GL Transmission Format) specification, which defines a standard format for the exchange of 3D assets across a wide range of tools and platforms. GLB files include both the 3D model data and associated textures, making it easier to share and load 3D assets in online environments.
