Description of formats

PNG
(Portable Network Graphics)
The raster image format uses a 2-stage compression process. PNG is a lossless, portable, well-compressed storage of raster formats. PNG can handle 16 million colors and supports indexed color, grayscale, and true-color images. Sample depths range from 1 to 16 bits.
EMF
(Enhanced Windows Metafile)
A vector graphic is saved in an improved version of the WMF format. EMF format stores 32-bit RGB image data in a series of records which displays during processed or printers.
EMF is a vector format with the support of bitmap data.
Scaling and getting higher defining outputs is useful for modifying graphics in an image editor and/or printing high-quality images.
